Cummins Onan Attributes Their Success to Bell and Orders, the Renowned Generator Brand
Bell and Orders is attributed as being the single most important driving force behind Cummins Onan’s success, a recent Cummins Onan Newsletter said.
Bell and Orders, the prominent supplier of superior quality generators for special applications was featured recently in the Cummins Onan Newsletter.
In the newsletter, the Business Development Director from Cummins Onan has attributed their success to the long-standing efforts of their channel partners, Bell and Order. According to the director, this particular channel partner has ensured a strong foundation for the company with their continued positive customer service.
Bell and Orders started out in 1946 as a part of the vision and foresightedness of Bob Bell, an electrical engineer by profession, according to the newsletter feature.
Gradually, it developed into the largest rewinder and repairer for DC/AC electrical generators and motors in Victoria. Originally, the company employed 30 people and went on to become the largest sales distributor in Australia for Lincoln Welding Company.
Their partnership with Cummins Onan began in the early 1960s. One of their first introductions to the market was Onan CCK, a petrol 12.5 HP engine. Its function was to power the popular Lincoln 200 amp Welder.
In 1969, after Rob Bell joining the company as service workshop manager, they became registered as Bell and Orders Pty Ltd. Since then, the company has introduced, supported, and marketed petrol engines from Onan; for powering a wide range of industrial and rural applications.
With advanced technologies from Cummins Onan, Bell and Orders wasted no time introducing the new generator version to the market. The enormous, inherent potential of the product goaded them to increase their involvement with the sales, marketing, and service distribution across Victoria.
With expansions came the need to find a better location with more modern facilities.
So, in keeping with the times and changing needs, Bell and Orders changed their office premise from the original North Melbourne to Heidelberg Eastern superb in 2001. This facilitated them to cater to the ever-growing clientele, successfully.
Present day Bell and Orders head office includes an exclusive division for spare parts and an expansive showroom featuring an extensive range of generators from Cummins Onan.
The liberal premise and facilities allow customers to opt for an in-depth demonstration of these high-quality generators, and even view them under load conditions.
The sales representatives and technicians help the customers to make an educated buying decision by highlighting the features and the benefits of different generators.
No wonder Cummins Onan is proud of their channel partner, an apt representative for this top-of-the-line generator brand. This newsletter feature is certainly an appreciation of the good work Bell and Orders has been doing over the years.
